HIS hands and feet
Classis Alberta North of the Christian Reformed Church
"OUR Vision is that we will be a gathering of mutually supportive, healthy churches expressing the good news of God's Kingdom that transforms lives and communities."
To help the choir celebrate 40 years, a grant has been secured to film and record a documentary on the choir and its work in rebuilding Rehoboth Camp. Filming has started and will continue with interviews over the summer. Clips from the documentary will be shown as part of the Saturday Concert. We have invited the alumni of the choir to join the children as part of an alumni choir - 38 have responded so far.
There will be one more call for participants to the churches (from Rehoboth) in September before the rehearsals begin in October. Songs were picked by a team – Nathan Bootsma (Alumni Director) and Melanie DeVries for the alumni, Linda Rosendal and myself for the children of Joyful Noise. Songs cover a wide range of the choir’s work over 40 years. Rehearsals will begin in October for the Alumni Choir at St. Albert Christian Reformed Church from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (including a break).
